Ayo Laiyemo

Director - Head of Accounting Services

Ayo is currently the head of accounting services at MBSL. He is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin where he received his MBA (distinction). He is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Certified Accountants. He started his career with Andersen and moved to Citigroup in 2000.

He was selected to join the Citigroup management associate leadership programme due to his consistent exceptional performance.

Ayo worked briefly with Access Bank Plc as Cash Management team lead before joining MBSL in 2006.

Ayo is a bright, brave and result oriented professional with proven track record in financial management, strategy and process improvements. Partnering with business leaders across different industries to deliver strong profitability. He enjoys soccer and actively participates in charity fund raising at his local church.
